These stays are based on original examples throughout the 1700s. This style is considered half-boned vs fully boned. The half-boned stays have strategically placed stiff boning to give the wearer the proper shape. These are available in heavy white cotton, with a heavy cotton binding. The straps are securely sewn to the inside of the stays, not the binding, so they can be easily removed without damaging the structure of the garment.

This is the first stay I have ever owned and worn and I love it! It is so well put together and fits great. I submitted all measurements and it fits me perfect. They also included longer ties so its easier to tie. Great addition to an authentic experience wearing Regency clothing.

The item arrived as described and in a timely manner. The fit guide on the website helped me to accurately determine the size that I needed. The size suggested fit me well. The amount of lacing provided was more than enough which makes lacing easier.
